Medic was gone, and it was Gamzeee who nailed the guy somehow..? Kanaya had been reluctant to talk about it so addressing the juggler directly was his only choice if he was to learn the full story on how it happened.

The other lives right across the hallway so Gokudera decides to just head over instead of using the com. ''Hey, it's me; open up'' he says after knocking a few times on Gamzee's door.

It was lonely in the asylum for Kanaya, especially given that she had officially cut ties with Andrea days ago and that crossed Taylor off the list as well. Willow still hadn't disappeared yet, of course, and there was always Gamzee, but the only remaining intersection of peer functionality and reliability functionality was Gokudera.

So it was that one evening she loitered in the hallway outside his room, waiting for him to come out -- for dinner, she assumed he would eventually. When he came out the door, she would get his attention somehow: An announcement along the lines of, "Hey, Gokudera. I wanted to hang out." Not try human hanging out. Willow had taught her well in that respect.

It takes him a bit of time to shuffle his way to the door. His makeup is pristine, but under it he's not looking too healthy. Still he gives Gokudera a smile as he opens the door. He likes the human quite a bit and talking with him makes some of the most awful feelings hide away for a while. "Hey, brother. What all are you up and coming over for?"

He asks that while shuffling back a little to let Gokudera in if he wants to, happy to open up his messy room to visitors.
